Oversigt
Opkaldt efter den første mand, der krydsede Antarktis og nåede Sydpolen, fører MS Roald Amundsen vejen mod en endnu mere bæredygtig måde at rejse på. Skibet er specielt konstrueret til rejser i polarfarvande. Det fungerer som en komfortabel baselejr til søs og bringer eventyrere fra hele verden til de mest spektakulære destinationer på den mest bæredygtige måde.
MS Roald Amundsen er det første af to hybridfartøjer, som Hurtigruten Expeditions vil tilføje til sin flåde i de kommende år. Udledninger reduceres ved at sejle med elektrisk fremdrift. Innovativ bæredygtig teknologi reducerer skibets brændstofforbrug og CO2-udledninger med 20 procent.

Skandinaviske materialer fra naturen, såsom granit, eg, birk og uld, bruges til at skabe afslappede og stilfulde kahytter og offentlige områder.
